To welcome spring in the chicest of ways, last evening Shopbop and Malone Souliers gathered an intimate group to celebrate the launch of the shoe brand\u2019s latest capsule collection\u2014available online at Shopbop. Hosted at the West Village\u2019s Little Owl the Townhouse, the dinner was filled with tables adorned with flowers and candles aplenty. Guests enjoyed dinner, chatted, and even scrolled through the collection that had just been released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Capes came to town several years ago and then dwindled away again, but if you loved the look you\u2019re in luck as it\u2019s back for autumn. Female empowerment has been at the forefront of people\u2019s thoughts, the news and social media, especially with more and more discussions about closing the gender pay gap happening throughout the world. Seen at the likes of Erdem<\/em>, Missoni and Isabel Marant, it\u2019s going to be a key piece to own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What was really interesting about fashion at that time was the way rock \u2019n\u2019 roll heroes like Jimmy Page, Marc Bolan and David Bowie blended the genders so beautifully. It\u2019s really relevant today. So in those days, the guys were all wearing their girlfriends\u2019 clothes and digging through their wardrobes wearing their flares and their scarves and their blouses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So when I look at my fashion icons from the \u201960s and \u201970s, they\u2019re all men, but it\u2019s the idea of women who are dressing like those men who are wearing their girlfriends\u2019 clothes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Treat the idea like a game.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Fans were delighted by the funny video, with one writing: \u201cThis is priceless,\u201d while another added: \u201cShe is the best!\u201d However, one fan was quick to point out an inconsistency with the series, as Monica and Chandler<\/a><\/em> had in fact moved out of that apartment by the series finale, and wrote: \u201cThat\u2019s not your home anymore, you moved with Chandler.\u201d Although there doesn\u2019t seem to be much hope of a\u00a0Friends\u00a0<\/em>reunion episode any time soon, the creator of Friends recently opened up about what the characters would be up to these days, and revealed whether he thought Ross and Rachel\u2019s relationship would last the test of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
